Confession of a Buddhist Atheist Stephen Batchelor

In his book Confessions of a Buddhist Atheist, Stephen Batchelor recounts an interesting story about Ling Rinpoche… Kyabje Yongdzin Ling Rinpoche. At the end of his book Confession of a Buddhist Atheist, Stephen Batchelor speaks about a secular religion, a beliefless practice, although he understands the contradictory nature of the terms. In Buddhism the emphasis is placed on practice. Recent books such as Stephen Bachelor's, “Confession of a Buddhist Atheist” are generating a lot of discussion. There is something about the title that I found odd. This is a confession of someone trying to find himself and his way in the larger world. €Challenging, witty, and erudite. Much of this questioning is at odds with the traditional forms that Asian teachers have established it in the West. The two topics here remind me, I really need to read Confessions of a Buddhist Atheist! In it, he tells his own story of embracing, then rejecting, both Tibetan Buddhism and Zen. I still can't put my finger on it exactly. Can an atheist or agnostic follow the Buddha's teachings without believing in reincarnation or organized religion? From Stephen Batchelor's excellent Confessions of a Buddhist Atheist (2010). Stephen Batchelor has recently written a particularly interesting book, Confessions of a Buddhist Atheist. I have read Batchelor's “Confessions of a Buddhist Atheist” and is none the wiser about faith or the absence of faith. Yesterday I came across the title of Stephen Batchelor's new book, Confession of a Buddhist Atheist. Confession of a Buddhist Atheist. (Stephen Batchelor, author of Confession of a Buddhist Atheist). Perhaps everything is pure semantics.
